Dental Implant Technology

Cone Beam Radiography

Our Archdale dentists use advanced CBCT technology to enhance the accuracy and success of your dental implant procedure. Using the GALILEOS Comfort 3D Cone Beam Scanner, we take 3D images of your mouth to precisely formulate your unique treatment plan.

We have streamlined the entire process to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. In under a minute, we can perform a complete dental scan. Our cone beam scanner allows us to map out your implant procedure and tailor the entire process to your specific needs.

Digital X-Rays

Dr. MacDonald is always looking for new ways to improve our patients’ experience and maximize the effectiveness of the dental implant process. Far safer, with only a fraction of the radiation, we use digital x-rays at our Archdale office.

This allows us to create highly accurate and precise images that we can instantly project onto our monitors. Digital x-rays deliver much clearer results and are very fast and comfortable for our patient.

CEREC Technology

Using the amazing CEREC system, we can craft your restoration in a single day. Utilizing our intraoral scanner, we examine your teeth and gums. We then create your new prosthetic teeth right in our office using the advanced CEREC milling system.

Our mission is to simplify the entire dental implant process and to make your time with us as easy and stress-free as possible. Using the CEREC system, we create personalized dental restorations that are built to match your natural teeth seamlessly.

Anutra Local Anesthetic

Traditional anesthetic injections used in dental procedures have a high ph level and can be acidic. This leads to patient discomfort with a stinging sensation after an injection. We utilize the Anutra Local Anesthetic Delivery System to minimize any discomfort and maximize the speed and effectiveness of dental anesthesia.

This allows us to buffer or balance the ph level of the anesthetic and minimize any discomfort. Additionally, this allows your body to more quickly adapt and numb the affected area.
