Dr. Brad MacDonald goes the extra mile to ensure that he has ample knowledge of the services he provides to his Archdale patients. With a strong educational background and commitment to continuous education, Dr. Brad uses his formal learning to guide his best practices.

High School

A native North Carolina resident, born and raised in Greensboro, NC, Dr. Brad graduated from Ragsdale High School in 2009.

Undergraduate School

Dr. Brad attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate degree. In 2013, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

Dental School

After undergrad, Dr. Brad attended Dental School at East Carolina School of Dental Medicine (ECU SoDM) in Greenville, NC. He graduated in May of 2017.

Clinics

While at ECU SoDM, he worked in Community Service Learning Centers in Spruce Pine, Bolivia, and Lexington, North Carolina. These clinics were placed in underserved areas to help patients throughout the state access quality dental care.

Spear Education

Dr. Brad became a Spear Education member of Greensboro in 2017. The program is based out of Scottsdale, AZ, and brings advanced continuing education to dentists hoping to improve their practices by learning the curriculum set out by Frank Spear DDS, MSD. It is recognized as a highly prestigious program.

Dawson Academy

Dr. Brad also attended the Dawson Academy in Clearwater, FL, where he improved his understanding of worn dentition and occlusion. This is another well-known and respected educator in the industry.

Six Month Smile Certification

He has also been a certified Six Month Smile provider since 2018, allowing him to provide patients with straighter teeth in less time than traditional methods.

Implant Education

He continues to grow his knowledge of various aspects of dentistry and has completed over 168 hours of continuing education at the Triangle Implant Institute. This means he can expertly place and restore implants.

Dr. Brad Outside the Office

Dr. Brad gives his all at work so that he can enjoy time with his family and focus on his interests and hobbies at home. He met his wife Jennifer, who works at Piedmont Pediatric Dental, when they were both in dental school and tied the knot in 2019. They live in Greensboro with their daughter Lily and dachshund Barkley, who you may see around the office. Dr. Brad’s interests and hobbies include playing golf and tennis, snow skiing, Tar Heel basketball, Panthers football, traveling, and hanging out with family and friends.
